We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented EEG Technician to join our healthcare team. The EEG Technician will be responsible for conducting electroencephalogram (EEG) tests to monitor and record electrical activity in the brain. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results.
This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with patients of all ages, including those with special needs or medical conditions. The role may also involve working irregular hours, including nights and weekends, depending on the facility’s needs.
Candidates should have completed an accredited EEG technology program and preferably hold certification from a recognized body such as ABRET (American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists). Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
